Turn the dial to choose a Kit location that you want to load the kit to.ħ. Cursor down once to highlight the User kit (this is the destination). Cursor to highlight the "SD Card" kit, and then turn the dial to choose the Kit you want to load.ĥ. Press the PAGE DOWN button to select page 2 of the SD CARD BACKUP screen.Ĥ. When the load is complete, press the KIT button to exit, and then turn the dial or press the +/- buttons to select the different Artist kits.
Be sure to backup any custom kits you want to keep before proceeding. Press the PAGE UP button to confirm you are on page one of the SD CARD LOAD screen.ĬAUTION: Pressing F5(LOAD) in the next step will load the entire TD-50 Artist Kits into your TD-50 and erase any custom / user kits you have created. Eject the SD card from the computer and insert it back into the TD-50's card slot.Ģ. Doing this should replace the original TD-50 folder that was on the SD Card.ĥ. If/When prompted to "replace the existing folder on the card," Click OK. Transfer the TD-50 folder (only) from the Artist Tuned Kits folder to the Roland folder on the SD card. Locate the downloaded TD-50 Artist file on your computer.ģ. Insert the SD card into your card reader on the computer.Ģ. Transferring the TD-50 Artist Kit file ("TD-50" folder) to the SD Card:ġ. Eject the SD card from the TD-50's card slot. Cursor right to highlight "OK," and then press ENTER.Ĩ. Be sure you have transferred any data you wish to keep to the computer before proceeding.ħ. IMPORTANT NOTE: Formatting the SD card will erase all of its contents. Press F3 (FORMAT) - "This will clear the SD Card" appears.
